Hello! I am enjoying living in Sweet Home Alabama...I especially enjoy the winters here. I moved to Opelika 3 years ago to marry another Special Education teacher from Auburn. I met Barbie while we were both teaching on the Navajo Indian Reservation in New Mexico. I lived with the Navajo Indians in government teacher housing in Crownpoint, New Mexico. I was living out in the high-plains desert, just sand and rock... 90 miles from the nearest border town, Farmington, New Mexico... AMAZING experience!!!

I was born and raised on a farm outside of Portland, Indiana. I lived 47 years in my home town farming, building houses and managing businesses. I moved to Colorado in 2001 to experience the Rocky Mountains, while I taught in the Denver area schools... AMAZING experience!!
