I have been a Teacher for 18 years. The last 9 years I have spent in Smiths Station. This will be my second year teaching Driver Education. Previously I taught Physical Education at what was formerly Smiths Station Elementary (2nd-3rd grade).
Before coming to Smiths Station I taught computer Science and Physical Education at Sparkman High School in Madison County Alabama.
I have been blessed with a beautiful family. My wife Cindy, son Ryan (18), and daughter Tatum (16) and I live in Auburn. My wife and I are both graduates of Auburn University and fell in love with Auburn and the Lee County area. We could think of nowhere else we would want to raise a family.
I played baseball while at Auburn University, and was fortunate enough to get drafted after my junior year. I then played professionally in the Cincinnati Reds organization for 6 years. I am now able to have an impact on young mens lives as the Head Coach of the Smiths Station baseball program. Smiths Station is a great community and I am thrilled that I can be a part of it.
